Family Audio Guide at Whitney Museum

The Whitney Museum of American Art has introduced its first family audio guide People, Places and Spaces. The free guide seeks to help children think critically about art and the world around them. Available in Spanish, the guide intends to introduce both adults and children to the museum’s permanent collection of American masterpieces. Families visiting the museum can use the guide to explore the Whitney’s most acclaimed works, including Alexander Calder’s magical Calder’s Circus, Georgia O’Keefe’s radiant Music in Pink and Blue, and Edward Hopper’s iconic Early Sunday Morning. It is available in Spanish and will be online in the Fall.

Located on 75th St. and Madison Ave, The Whitney Museum of American Art was founded in 1930, and holds approximately 13,000 works of art representing more than 1,900 artists. For more information, visit www.whitney.org.
