Family Programs at the New York Aquarium

SLEEP IN THE DEEP – adults with children aged 8-12.
Parents and children will visit behind-the-scenes to feed coral reef fish, watch belugas at bedtime, spy on snoozing seals and discover if sharks ever “sleep.”
October 12, 7:00 PM-10:00 AM. Adult-child pair charged $120 for members, $130 for non-members.

BREAKFAST WITH THE ANIMALS – adults or adults with children aged 7 and up.
Assist animal keepers with food preparation before sharing a continental breakfast with other participants.
October 20. Members: $25 adult, $18 child aged 6-11; nonmembers: $28 adult, $21 child.

PROGRAMS FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS – adults with children aged 3-4.
October 24, 2:00-3:00 PM: Fish and Sharks. November 14, 2:00-3:00 PM: Turtles. November 18, 11:00-12:00 AM: Penguins. Members $18, nonmembers $20.

WITCHES, WHALES AND HALLOWEEN TALES – adults with children aged 3-4.
Come in costume to a Happy Halloween Party with stories, crafts and games at the aquarium.
October 27, 2:00-3:30 PM. Adult-child pair: members $20, nonmembers $22.

IT’S A SEAHORSE, OF COURSE – adults with children aged 5-7.
Explore an exhibit about seahorses and their relatives, followed by songs, stories and art projects.
October 28, 1:30-3:00 PM. Members $20, nonmembers $22.
