QCC Runs Homebound Program

Queensborough Community College is accepting applications for its External Education Program for the Homebound, which enables those with disabilities to pursue a college degree from their homes.

The Homebound Program uses a system of speakerphones and computer technology to connect students to classrooms. “Softboard” technology permits students at home to see blackboard writing through a computer screen as the instructor is writing in class.
