Oregon Leadership Institute

Student performance, dropout rates, and school violence are just a few of the issues educators attending the University of Oregon’s (UO) summer leadership institute will take on as part of their “ContinUO commitment.”

ContinUO 2001, sponsored by the UO College of Education, will take place July 23-27 at Sunriver Resort in Central Oregon. The institute is open to school, business, and community leaders from across the United States and Canada.

The institute was designed to build a community of leaders prepared to address challenges faced by today’s young people. Led by a faculty of business consultants and artists, the institute prepares leaders for the “hard work and heart work of visionary leadership,” says Jon Labrousse, newly appointed ContinUO director.
