Student Profile: Neesha Milligan

Neesha Milligan is a fifth grader at the preK-8 All Saints School on 135th Street in Manhattan. If you ask her about her school she will tell you that the students are looking forward to the much-needed library currently under construction.

In English class she has read Stuart Little and The Trumpet of the Swan. But her favorite subjects are math and science. “I like long division in math, and the planets in science,” she says. In her music class, she sings gospel songs, and the class performs annual Christmas and spring concerts.

But summer vacation is coming soon. While she loves school, these days Neesha is more concerned with getting a dog. “I think I’ll name it Gypsy or Tutu,” she says, excitedly thinking about her future pet. She will also turn 11 in this month. Happy birthday, Neesha!
