While you are in the store you might want to look at The Little
Big Book for Dads, edited by Lena Tabori and Hiro Clark Wakabayashi,
Book Magazine's Book of the Year Award Winner, and The Little
Big Book for Moms edited by Lena Tabori and Alice Wong. Both
books, designed by Timothy Shaner, are wonderful collections of
retold fairytales, meditations on being Dads and Moms by well-known
authors, folksongs, poetry, nursery rhymes, stories, recipes,
finger games, activities, jokes and tongue twisters accompanied
by marvelous illustrations of children, animals and fairy tale
characters. Each book has a ribbon bookmark so you will not lose
