Software – the Handwriting Worksheet Wizard
 When
David Sharp was trying to help his young daughter, Emily,
practice her handwriting skills, he thought he’d make
a worksheet by hand. He created the letters with dots so Emily
could trace them. After making a few dotted letters, Dave
found it very time consuming. He thought there probably would
be software that could do it much easier, but there wasn’t.
So Dave and Wayne Wylie created StartWrite Handwriting Software.
StartWrite
lets parents and teachers easily create and print fun, meaningful
worksheets, ready for any child to trace and start improving
their handwriting skills. The letters print in dot or solid
format, from light to dark shades and from 1/4 to 2 inches
in height. StartWrite can print guidelines and stroke arrows.
Clip art is also included. StartWrite provides the 4
most often taught manuscript fonts and cursive fonts, including
Italic.
