Blues’ Clues’ Goals

Blues’ Clues videos are very popular with young children, but parents watching them may not always know the education goals of each episode. Following is information about What experiment does Blue want to try? from Blues’ Clues own goal sheets:

The goal of this episode is for viewers to explore the science concepts of magnification, magnetic properties and the solar system. Topics covered are science and experimentation, knowledge of the solar system and visual perception. Blue wants to try the cyclone experiment and she also tries the ‘sink or float’ experiment with Steve. Steve removes the pawprint with a magnet, and kids experiment with magnets. Throughout the episode there is the repetition of the word ‘experiment’.
