Children's Art at the UN

Award-winning drawings by children from around the world, aged 7 through 15, will be shown in a free exhibition in the United Nations General Assembly Visitor's Lobby from May 5th through June 10th, seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The entrance is at First Avenue and 45th Street.

The drawings being exhibited are the winner's, culled from over 14,000 submissions from children in over 60 countries, in the International Environmental Children's Drawing Contest, sponsored by the International Certification Network and the Japan Quality Assurance Organization. The aim of the contest is to encourage the world's children to think about their environment and how to protect it.

The exhibit is under the aegis of the United States Fund for UNICEF. www.unicefusa.org#
